So italy was great fun...I met some amazing people. Got lost alot it was a great deal of fun. I cant decide on my favorit city, it was either Verona or Venice. In Verona there was a big really pretty Colosium and they had a Verona was a place where Nathan once again proved his excelence. i got us lost and nathan was able to find the way to the hostel. In verona i learned that i do not know right from left.

So, we decided not to go to greece, at least not on this trip...for reasons see my last post. But Im gonna be in italy in four days and im really excited...

in other news i found the rennissance festival in england...its a city called york. and thats about it...oh and i have 5,000 words due in papers in the next week...and nine books to read...somehow im gonna manage that before i go to italy

Why does it cost so freeken much to fly from Rome to Athens? Im planning a trip there and every flight I find costs about 100 pounds (as much as my round trip flight from Newcastle to Milian) The other option would be to take a fairee overnight. And Desk space costs as much as a flight, but i have to sit on a ship deck overnight, waist a night all for what i could of done in like three and a half hours. its just shitty, cause i really want to go to greece i just dont want to pay 200 dollars to go for a few days. Taking a train just doesnt seem like a brilent idea either, since I would go through Albania Croation and the formal Yougoslavia whatever its called

In other news I just got my hair cut...its nice.

Hey, so yesterday I went to the beach for the first time since Ive been here. It was nice, according to nathan it was a lot like Cape Cod, possibley the reason that area's called new england...anyway it was a lot of fun, the watter was really cold, and I found out by playing on rocks then the waves came in...but it was still fun, Ive got a few pictuers on my disposable cammera so i will probely put them up when I get them developed. well thats about it laters

I never know what to write up here anymore which sorta sucks cause I sorta look at it as my link to home while I am abroad. But oh well. I suppose since yesterday was V-Day i should mention something about that...The day started out with me being sick as hell, but i didnt want to ruin the day so i made myself get up then I went on a hike with Nathan which was really fun and nice, especially since we dont get to spend much quality time together anymore cause we are almost always together...hard to understand/explain...anyway it was nice. Than we came home made dinner ( i have gotten to be a damned good cook since I have had my own kitchen) then took a nap, woke up, still feeling sick although my stomach had stoped hurting and i only had a migraine, than i went into the common room and hung out with all the girls for abit, watched the end of the notebook drank some wine and some martini's than went to sleep cause my headache kept getting worse. and now its morning and the damn thing is still here...

As for today, Ive got class in like ten minuets for two hours than I am going to the MetroCenter, the biggest shopping center in all of europe with one of my american friends Abby, than I am home...to do some reading for class. Also right now I am reading a book, Rainy day Woman, and so far its been really good, I can really relate to the main girl its hard to explain. Thats about it...and normally I would say something about trying to post more offten but that would be just something that I wouldnt be able to keep so thats about it...Cheers till next time.

Oh and by the way if I could get anyone in Milli to give me sudjestions about what to do for housing for next year that would be wonderfulmous

So Classes are finaly about to start in good old england, and Ive worked out my timetable for anyone that cares...its fairly light with the exception of thursdays where im in class for four hours no break. Heres my schedual

Monday: 11-12 Early Modern Thought and Culture

Tuesday: OFF yay

Wedsday: 11-1 Jews Muslims and Christians in the Middle Ages

Thursday : 9-12 Marriage Kinship and Inhearitance, 12-1 Early Modern Thought and Culture Semenar.

Fridays: OFF yay for permanent three day weekends :)

So exams here are basicly the same, except they are given by big gorillas with sticks up there ass, which is pretty funny to watch...not really. But to take an exam you show up at a schedualled time to a room in some random building, like for example at home all of your classes are in arts and sciences your exam would be in the basement of the lab science building, i forgot what its called. But anyway so you show up, and they take your jackets coats purses practicly anything you have with you at the door. You have to hand them your cell phone, and they have to watch you turn it off. You are aloud a drink, tissues if your sick, and pens on your desk and thats it, Oh but you have to have your student ID so that they know you are you. You fill out your attendence slip, which is basically an orange piece of paper with your name and student regestration number, with the class code and title, then they come around and pick that up and they actually check the id. Then you get your test booklet, you fill one side of that with your registration number and cource module, than the other corner you write your name, but this corner is like an envelope, you have to lick the edge of the paper then fold it over so they cant see your name untill after they have graded it. Which is crazy, oh they also arnt graded by proffessors at this school, they send them out to another school who grades them. I really dont understand. Anyhow hope yall are all having fun at home, Ive got another essay in tommorow and tonight is the season finaly of lost, which i have started watching religously since i have been here.
